BCG vaccination CANNOT be booked online. BCG clinics are held approximately monthly. Please call the clinic and ask to speak with our nurse immuniser to discuss
Staying healthy for life
A wide range of travel and routine vaccines are kept in stock at the clinic, along with medication kits, so on many occasions you may only require one visit to prepare for your trip. (Some vaccines require multiple doses to ensure full disease protection – this will be discussed with you at the time of consultation.)
All immunisations are recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) so that you can access this information through the Medicare app on your smartphone. Yellow Fever vaccination is recorded on the AIR as well as on an International Certificate of Vaccination to keep and carry with your passport.
Vaccines kept in the clinic include:
- BCG (tuberculosis)
- Cholera
- COVID-19
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Influenza
- Japanese Encephalitis
- Measles/mumps/rubella (German measles)
- Meningococcal
- Q Fever
- Rabies
- Tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis (whooping cough)
- Typhoid
- Varicella (chickenpox/shingles)
- Yellow Fever
Other vaccines which may be required, such as Tick-Borne Encephalitis, are available on special order (after consultation with Dr Grey).
Vaccines listed on the National Immunisation Program are provided free of charge to eligible individuals* (*as per government guidelines).
The cost of individual vaccines varies – patients with private health insurance may be able to claim a rebate for the cost of vaccines through their health fund (depending on level of cover).
